Our mission is to protect and nurture the property in the Fox Hollow Valley as healthy and vibrant forestland watched over by creative and industrious dwellers who thrive sustainably in harmony with the land.

We ensure that the forestland dwellers are safe and provided with a foundation for Good Living.

What We’ve Achieved

Safeguarding the Land

• The land is protected in perpetuity by the Northwest Land Conservation Trust.

• Ongoing: clearing invasive species like Himalayan blackberries, Scotch broom, and more.

• Now and forever, the land is a pesticide-free zone!

Learning about the forest dwellers

• Our trail cams document the wildlife on the land…deer, skunks, foxes, cougars, and even a bear!

• Ongoing: creating a compendium of plant and animal species that live on the land.

Improving the Human Infrastructure

• Yurt purchased as workshop space

• Replaced appliances

• Plumbing, Septic, gray water, and electrical upgrades

• Sewing studio completed

• Main House improvements

• Sauna rebuilt
